Hecatoncheires
The Hundred-Handed
Boss, Level 900
40,000 x 3 Health
The Hecatoncheires are a group of three giants—Cottus, Gryes, and Briareus—each with fifty heads and one hundred arms (though this amount would likely get cut down in-game.) Coming up to Olympus during the War of the Gods, the death of Zeus would leave them stranded on Earth. They would settle on a remote island far from land where, unseen by human eyes for hundreds of years. Sensing the souls of their former allies within you, they have taken a keen interest in you.
They appear on a rainless island in the I4 range of the Dark Sea. On the island, a mansion built into a mountain would be seen, with the outside of the mansion being lush and filled with prey animals. Outside the front door is a quest giver.
The quest giver, named Cymopolia, remarks that you are the first human they’ve seen since the Fall of Olympus. Sensing your strength the soul of her father Poseidon within you, she invites you inside, where her husband Briareus would be waiting. After some small talk between the two, Cymopolia would tell Briareus of what she sensed. Briareus then invites you to fight him and his brothers.
The Hecatoncheires are close-ranged fighters, with a focus on pulling opponents towards them. Each one of them—though identical in technique—differ in attack stats: Cottus has 2x the haste of his brother, Gyres has 1.5x the range, dexterity, and size of his brothers, and Briareus has 60% pierce and 1.25x the power of his brothers.
After defeating the Hecatoncheires, Briareus offers to teach you the fighting style they use for free: Hundred-Handed Style. This lost fighting style requires 600 Strength to use. After defeating the Hecatoncheires and upon reencountering the island, Briareus can be talked to, where you can either relearn Hundred-Handed Style or rematch the Hecatoncheires.

Hundred-Handed Style is be a lost fighting style focused on keeping opponents close to you. While awful at rushing opponents down, it excels in keeping them in range of your attacks. Thus to effectively use this fighting style, a faster fighting style should be used alongside it to close the distance between you and your opponent.
