So far, there are no villain benefits. People run away from you (making it impossible to trade with NPCs or enchant items) and you get hunted down by the Council. The only benefit is that villain NPCs don’t attack you (including the Minotaur), but that gets outweighed by the cons.
What I am suggesting is some kind of Underground town for villains. This will add a reason to become a villain and make it easier to sell your stuff instead of chasing down a wanted merchant for an hour (true story.) In order to make things more exciting, I think there should be a way for heros to break in, but this will be slightly difficult.
