1. Anti-Clanlocking
Current system:
- If a certain clan claims Silverhold more than once, the next time it becomes controlled by the Grand Navy, other clans will not be allowed to claim it. This is a permanent effect in any given server.
Proposed system:
- After 30 minutes of Silverhold reverting to Grand Navy control, the Grand Navy’s Influence should be increased to 70%, with a relevant Agora update titled something along the lines of, “THE GRAND NAVY HAS ENDED ITS WAR WITH [Clan Name].” And then someone else is free to do the same grinding, and Silverhold claimers won’t have to constantly flock to new servers!
2. Assassin Raids
Proposed system:
- We have max-level Grand Navy ships (presumably from other regions) chasing over us to regain Silverhold, sure, but what if NPC Assassins started to raid the building in attempt to gain control? You’d have to hold them off or you’d lose the claim – after defeating them, the Grand Navy attempts to take Silverhold back while they have the opportunity, and you’re forced to fight back another horde. This means you’d actually have to do some work to keep the claim rather than hiding and telling your friend to sink Gravy ships.
3. Prison Management
Current sytem:
- Despite not having control over Silverhold, the Grand Navy seems perfectly able to lock people up there and manage their own systems.
Proposed system:
- The presider of Silverhold should be able to decide who can be jailed. We should be able to choose if it stays as normal; lock up bounty players – or if we decide to exempt some people, or include some people. This allows for moral alignment.
4. Influence boost for dominant-clan members being defeated in combat.
- If a Marine being defeated allows someone to decrease the Grand Navy’s influence, the same should go for a clan’s (conceptual) influence over Silverhold in a sever. Other clan members shouldn’t be exempt from mattering in the system.
