Aesir lore questions

  1. how’d the silas gang escape (incase it’s been stated ingame alredy, yes i forgot.)? pretty sure since the player was evil-y expiremented on, the place had atleast some kind of security, and i doubt that it was something cheap like a lvl 40 assasin. were lvl 1 no-names with main character plot armor not the only ones in there, also calvus implies the order already knew silas was very strong.

  2. if the order apparently reaches far deeper than silas can imagine, why wont they just quickly swoop in and capture silas again? are they monitoring them to see how far they can grow? ESPECIALLY when silas was in prison by the time calvus arrives, so he ALREADY knew that silas is directly withing their grasp

  3. is the order the reason enizor fear telling their goal right away?

  4. did they go in the dark sea?

might come up with more later idk

the answer to both is plot armor

fair enough

the silas gang (morden, tucker, and silas) are all legacies, meaning they have much more power than regular people. i doubt it was just us 3 escaping, it was likely an entire revolution of the facility and us and morden were the only ones who escaped with our lives

i assume youre talking about what calvus says, and this isn’t so much as “we’re always watching you” but moreso that anyone anywhere could be part of the order, regardless of their status, it was a threat that we should always be careful around other people.

no, enizor has no clue the order even exists, its just that the artifact he’s making (the philosophers stone) is incredibly powerful and even mentioning that youre on a quest to make it puts a large bounty on your head, kind of like walter white, they arent going to kill enizor but they’d probably kidnap him and steal the artifact once hes done with his work.

the order? maybe, actually its very likely they have

ok pretty cool explanation but where’s the answer to “why didn’t calvus just hand us back to the order if we’re so special”?

we killed him

*back when we were in prison, assuming calvus didnt return 2 hours before silas broke out

oh

uhhh, only thing i could think of is

he didn’t know we were imprisoned, he was out after the death curse when we were causing havoc in ravenna and julian was the one who imprisoned us, maybe julian didnt know we were anything special and didnt bother to tell calvus?

possible

We literally destroyed Fort Talos and killed Argos, Elius, and Carina

I think Silas would be worthy of letting Calvus know about

actually yeah youre right, calvus knows who we are since he opens up by saying we destroyed talos (though he wouldnt know about elius nor carina since there were no witnesses)

then again julian could of just said “oh yeah i beat up the guy who destroyed talos and hes in prison now” and i dont think anybody knows we are a legacy apart from calvus so calvus would just think its fine

alternatively, calvus could of called the order and they just didnt get there in time, or maybe he was going to use us as a bargaining chip to get more influence in the order

idk there are a lot of scenarios i can make up to justify this so vetex, who has even deeper understanding of the lore, could definitely make a justifiable reason

rowboat

Calvus probably didn’t give two shits about a legacy messing some things up back home, when he was in the middle of a race for the (Arguably) Strongest Curse In The World (With the sole exception of Grand Fires)

i mean after he saw it get stolen he probably went back with more than enough time to do all sorts of stuff with us, especially call in the order or atleast know of our presence

most of them got retconned and the category itself was also retconned i believe so yeah, may be one of the strongest curses

What if Calvus genuinely just forgot? Accounting for the time it probably took for him to sail to the Pelion Rift and back to Ravenna, he was probably too furious to ever think about our presence in the Eternal mines and forgot that we were even there in the first place.

It sounds very stupid but it could’ve happened

possible

or what if the odyssey is all in our heads and we’re still in the aesir place and they’re just looking in our minds for a way to get what they’re after

also smth i’ve thought of randomly

calvus is actually a very sensitive man and was deeply hurt that his curse was stolen by a thief and was unable to perform his duty, in fact he had a change of heart and was about to release us before the group of criminal teeangers destroy a part of the castle his ancestors (like 2 generations) left behind for him causing him to realize he need to put them down before they become a threat to the war seas!
