The Captain once their whole ship got devoured by some stray whale leaving only this fella alive:
“IT WAS ALL YOUR FAULT HENRY!”
for context he was stranded in the dark sea with his mother for 1 week, he is 14 here
now during that 1 week they had to fight Atlantean ships and henry outright started biting atlanteans in desperation and got them a new ship to try and escape
they eventually died except for him due it literally being weeks woeth of trouble
I was close then 
it however wasn’t henry’s fault
they were under attack and someone sabotaged the ship and put their course towards i3 ranges, dooming them, henry only survived because he was found by dragomir, melody died because she spent the entire week healing the crew with her spirit energy
had she not done that and only healed henry she wouldve lived alongside henry, but she gave everyone hope
Well for starters I think he was in his 30s when his ship was picked up by a tornado and flung into the dark sea. The crew and Rodrigo (oc name) survived the fall, but they were flung into the far reaches. They basically had to do non stop sailing for 3 months. Resources were low on trying to repair the ship, since they rarely found any islands that still had wood, and they were being chased by anything they weren’t able to kill.
They managed to make it out of the Dark Sea, until the ship was rocked by a sea beast, a giant white eyes. Only Rodrigo fell into the ocean, since he cared more about his crew’s safety. He was swallowed by the creature and dragged back into the dark sea.
