Agreeing with deckhands about fleet meeting points

I’m sure we all hate going island to island across the war seas just to catch our elusive fleet captains. By the point we even reach them, they’ve changed locations already… The system is a lot more tedious than it needs to be.
How I plan to fix this:
Make it so when you finally meet your captain you can agree on a meeting spot (island) that your deckhand will spawn at when you request a fleet report. You can have one meeting spot per sea, and the islands can only be wilderness islands.

It would be nice to not be sailing to an island only for them to go “HEY CAPTAIN IM ALL THE WAY OVER HERE NOW” “FUCK”

please add this I hate sailing across the map just to tell my captains to stop killing their crew at least make it so that we need to select a group of islands that they can go to please please please

Please for the love of god add this. The current system is just inconveniencing the player and wasting their time.

While im cool with the idea of fleet captain need to be met face to face for changing their work, im in no way supporting them teleporting here and there.

Like I know it wanna give the vibe of in old days people had hard time to meet up with each other due to slow comms, but that dont mean we can’t agree on where we want to meet.

I personally think setting an Island as permanent meeting place for like every 20-30 minutes sound somewhat realistic and reasonable, if we want to go to somewhat realistic route. A bit inconvenient sure but at least “Yo I need to meet my fleet captain rn” would be pretty ig. That being said, im still with setting up meeting with captain on certain point if needed

i think you should be able to change their tasks through the messaging system from anywhere in the sea, but this is good too
