You hearing me rant about AI and how much I hate it as a writer for the millionth time because it is a parasitic way of producing something, as it usually takes from others to create, others who did not consent to such a thing. It also lacks what makes our creations so interesting: the creativity. the human element.
Personally, my problem with it? Feels cheap. Like you didn’t actually want to put effort into its creation so you chose AI. Get a commission, use a collage creator to mix and match it, etc.
I think Janitor AI is one of the only… decent(?) uses of AI? I don’t know much about it, but I enjoy looking at characters people have made and using them for writing fuel. Very fun.
I dislike AI art, even small things, because it feels soulless. It feels lazy, and considering I’ve seen friends of mine make art that LITERALLY includes their blood in it, seeing art, even like this, feels like its lazy.
Not to mention, I’ve heard that AI is detrimental to the environment - something about coolers for water and damaging the connected soil to said water.
I cannot draw. I literally do not have hands that LET me draw well. still, I make my thumbnails stupid and silly with shitty drawings because it has that Human element to it. It’s real, it isn’t something typed in and compiling art from all over.
It just feels gross.
