All in all, though, I’d advise that you just take a break from the game. Your current experience might be bad, but as you said almost all guilds act the same. That in itself suggests that their behavior is as a result of something they’ve been subjected to. Maybe just wait for AO or something.
Game’s not receiving any updates as of now so everyone is looking for something to do. Most went inactive, but for those that remain they have to keep themselves occupied. Infamy farming is literally one of the only things you can do late game rn.

It is a factor. But the problem is that a “good” guild is one with a lot of infamy, and hunting for infamy is several times more efficient than 1v1ing. There are guilds who probably don’t hunt, but you wouldn’t call them “good” simply because they won’t have a lot of infamy.
I say you’re whining because your complaints are childish. You’re complaining while not having any background knowledge about why you’re complaining, and it comes across as sulkish because it seems like you’re complaining about the consequences of being in a competitive environment while stubbornly deciding to stay within it.
