This is why I keep posting pictures of a random monster with the word “alot” in the corner whenever people misspell “a lot.”

Yep. I think that’s how afternoon formed.
I don’t really get “grammatically conscientious” people. I know that hyperboleandahalf was/is a comedic blog so this doesn’t apply here specifically, but I’m referring to people who unironically get heated when someone misspells something or makes a grammatical error. It sounds elitist, especially when the error is such that only someone not familiar with the language wouldn’t know what was actually meant.
Even if the grammatical/typographical error was significant enough for you to not understand, where’s the cause for anger? It’s a really weird thing to get riled up about.
The alot monster is really cute though.
