I just made a new fire file to test something, and I’m noticing that some of it’s previous sound effects are just… nonexistant. When charging the magic fully and when the magic attack impacts something, I know there used to be a sound effect for it. It was sort of a crunch sound. But now I don’t hear it AT ALL. Did the sound effects break or something or is this file just cursed?
Nope I’m not just crazy I got the king to attack me and his beams make no sound at all

Yeah, but doesn’t that only apply to longer audios? Magic sound effects are very short, there’s no way it got over whatever the time limit was. Most other magics would’ve been silenced too if that was the case.
almost certain it applies to everything, it’s just that audios that last less than 6 seconds were left public, so you don’t need to reupload it if it wasn’t yours in the first place.
that and im not suuuuuuuuuuure if those magic audios necessarily last less than 6 seconds. its not rare at all for sound effects to have a super long ending where you hear nothing , especially if its not made to end abruptly.

roblox wiped a crap ton of audios for copyright too, although some arent even copyrighted
The audio change is within this week although it probably won’t affect the magic audios
But, I have encountered this before and it affects multiple magics
You just have to wait it out or server hop to get your sound back.
Either Roblox’s Copyright tantrum or sounds not loading, if it loads like 50% of the time, just rejoin.

It might have been a free-to-take sound that Fire Magic has been using the past years, so bad luck, I guess.
Deepwoken has a few missing sounds, too.
It’s really annoying knowing that once tomorrow hits, I’m going to be hearing (or should I say, not hearing) more of this.
