I remember going to my local library as a kid and seeing One Piece manga lined against the wall,
Im prob just gonna watch S1 and a bit more till i get bored, since seriously the first few of One piece are just so nostalgicly cool

Honestly, I wouldn’t suggest the manga. Yes, the anime takes a while and is quite slow, but honestly the sick OST, voice acting and the funny moments more than make up for it. But I suggest skipping fillers, unless you’re into that kind of thing…
Also, if you read the manga, you’ll miss all the gomu gomu no, santoryu and chopper being absolutely adorable.

Yes there’s a site that tells you what episode are fillers. Just look up “One piece fillers” and you’ll find it
