I doubt planes will continue to be a factor if they’re in the war for too long considering they will run out of jet fuel
Yeah but the war seas are the size of the entire Mediterranean I’m pretty sure, you’d need a lot more than the reserve fuel of an aircraft carrier to conduct bombing runs across the Sea until they surrender
According to my research, a typical aircraft carrier has about 3 million gallons of fuel storage, which is enough to conduct 20 ~3h flights on each of its approximately 50 planes before it’s exhausted
The range may be a problem, but aircraft carriers are very fast by ship standards
The only issue is probably curse users which could likely beat most, if not all, of the US Navy’s ships
As mentioned previously, submarines are underwater, which is quite famously inaccessible to curse users, and I’m not sure how they’d fare against a nuclear explosion
Curse users are supposedly only affected by magic energy attacks
I feel like this scenario is a lot more fun if instead of imagining the navy just showing up in the war seas we have a portal open up west of California that leads to the top of the bronze sea

the dark sea might aswell be pure radiation i doubt a small nuke would do much to the average admiral (plus a majority of the military is likely to get wiped out by a curse user if they become too much of a trouble)
It’s kinda hard to scale curse users since we haven’t fought any, same with admirals, it’s best not to scale things we don’t know, there’s probably a way the American navy could get a curse user half way in seawater to insta kill them, and we haven’t seen any admirals yet, so we literally just can’t scale them
I mean, general Julian was shown to be able to fly, so if a solid curse user can do that, I think any of them can. And they’re not affected by any of the US navy’s attacks either, since they lack magic energy.

Besides, only extremely powerful curse users die to water. Weaker curse users are only weakened and feel pain. A weak curse user might just walk out of the water and try again.
