Vetex forgot such giant creatures needed to eat
Even if we assume they could stand on their own (their weight makes it impossible), they are 3 caravels tall, without a good food source, they’d starve and go extinct in a matter of months

can’t get into it, but there is a likely way it could work without getting too weird.
