Time to break wotan’s neko neko kneecaps.

Grand Armament

“The user conjures enormous hands of their magic behind them. Every spell used by the user is quickly followed with a random spell from the user’s skillset.”

Up to four hands can be summoned, which deal decreased spell damage (15% for each hand down to 60%) but are faster in spellcasting. So long as the user has the spell learned (excluding buffs), it will be used

(Eg. The player casts a Pulsar, and the hands cast Javelin, Blast, Ray, and a Placed Explosion). Spells used by the hands are put on cooldown but only for 25% the regular time

This would honestly be peak. It would normally be relatively OP, however this is literally an ancient spell so what do you expect. I definitely think that the spells it can copy should not be other ancient spells or auras, since that would be stupidly OP (Or any spell that requires holding, for example, ray or surge.)

Question, how long would the hands last per cast?

Question, how would hellcannon work? Is it similar to ray, or is it a combination of ray and cannon (No AoE but pierces infinitely, but can also be aimed during the firing, and presumably bigger?)

Explosion users get to touch someone and 1 shot them

this would be more like a close ranged snare typa thing

Overload: Works similar to a regular self explosion but there is no limit on how long you can charge it for. Using up more than the regular maximum amount of energy will also start consuming a percentage of your health to charge as well. Charging it up for a long time will also cause it to have larger charging visuals and a louder charging noise.
(most of these things are just so people don’t hide in a corner and charge it up for about 5 minutes to oneshot anyone)
It’s supposed to be a risky move that you could do that gives the enemies the option to either try to kill you while you are vulnerable charging or run away out of range of the blast.

  • Hex(Magic) - A snare Variant that applies a debuff(slowness, weakness, diminished size, slower magic/energy regen, lock spell/technique(highest magic requirement)) Can be used as a small AOE around the user or like a regular grab. Relatively low-medium damage.
  • Clad(M) - Summon a magical set of armor that gives a specific buff of your choosing along (more overheal, power, defense, size, speed, etc). Once Summoned, an over heal will be applied depending on your current health that will absorb the damage taken at the cost of energy. The armor lasts until it’s dispelled, the timer runs out, or enough damage is done to break the armor. A debuff is applied when the armor is broken. Using Clad will restrict your ability to use different magics from the one used to cast it
  • Drive(Str) - The player launches themself at high speeds after charging to attack, creating a vacuum around them that destroys and deals damage to anything in its path. Direct contact deals a high amount of damage. Selecting an embodiment makes the vacuum take the shape of the selected animal(basically night guy from Naruto)
  • Lariat(Str) - Charge up an attack that will drag a target through a certain amount of breakable objects (or enough time without hitting something) before being followed by another attack to blow the target away

Beam, cannon and surge.

Dosent have TOO much aoe but is the equivalent of a kamehameha.

Oh, would Clad basically be like what Jarl Ivar does?
Also if Hex is like Snare it’s gonna suck, I’d recommend adding some range to that. Snare is literally so bad at hitting it’s literally an insult to spells.

Pretty much, had the idea before full release so I didn’t consider a long range grab

Full recovery (magic/spirit?) - can only be used with magics capable of healing (life, phoenix etc.), using it covers you with an aura made of your magic that increases your regeneration by an extreme amount, and weakens all of your spells. While the spell is active a energy exhaustion bar appears at the bottom of your screen, your exhaustion increases as you regenerate. When the spell is used again or your exhaustion reaches the max amount, the aura will dissipate, and you will receive a drawback based on your exhaustion, ranging from losing some energy, or being slowed, to being unable to cast spells for a certain duration, and even instant death if exhaustion reaches the max amount. The energy exhaustion slowly drains while the spell is inactive.

Eh, instant death is a stretch. I’d say it’d forcibly deactivate and stun you in place, as well as take longer for the exhaustion to go down. Additionally, you can’t activate the spell again until exhaustion is at 0.

Dragonbreaker
“Dragonbreaker - Utilize your blade to its full potential with the intent of beheading dragons in one fell swoop, bisecting the very air and shattering your weapon.”

Bowbreaker but for melee weapons, think colossal cleave as well, but if it was smaller, thinner, and WAY. faster.

This also shatters your weapon (not actually destroying it, you just can’t use it, literally just bowbreaker…)

Earthcarver
“Earthcarver - Punch an opponent with immense force, sending them flying, then leaping at the target to dropkick them, dragging them across the ground.”

Because berserkers should be allowed to give people the broly treatment.

Yes this means you surf on them the entire time for extra style points

hey i dont play overwatch but i think i thought of it from there, i honestly want a support barrier that both shields damage and provides a buff for spells that cross through it, like a tier increase or percentage buff to stats lol

Ashura!

“Ashura (Magic/Strength) - Conjure an additional set of arms to aid you while fighting: Immensely Increasing your total casting speed of spells/techniques and giving you a boost that’s weaker than Aura/Focus but more diverse, providing a overall upgrade to all other stats (Destruction, Power, Resistance all at once) stacking with Aura/Focus , additionally it grants a unique Second Hit effect to all of your techniques”

To use this scroll, you need both Magic and Strength, making it a unique spell for warlocks and…savants :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

The second hit works as follows: After a technique ends (This means that multi-hit techniques only get a second hit on the last blow, with the exception of Aftershock) the arms bound to you perform a quick smash/jab while you’re still stuck in Endlag, the second hit is a larger but a less powerful shockwave of your own magic.

Like 2 customizations I made up :

Style - Have choice between conjuring 2 or 4 additional arms

Charged - The arms will no longer be bound to your torso, they will now float around your body or it’s hands until it’s time for the second hit. Instead of the second hit being activated while in endlag, The floating arms charge themselves up for a little longer after you’ve left endlag - for a larger and a more powerful shockwave. Giving the enemy time to escape the blast. (This has no effect on Aftershock)

Spirit/Weapon Hybrid - Growth

The weapon uses an oppressive energy force to take over your body. It gives you a boost in your strongest stat and the weapon’s strongest stat but also a shit ton of drawback and regen. You will also gradually lose health. So you’ll have to land your shots to literally survive.

Since you’re not in control, the weapon will create a random list of your skills you need to input in a specific order, bending you against its will. Using any other skill out of the established order will be you resisting its power and will make your attacks unstable. The mode lasts for quite a bit too so you really have to be careful when using it.

To prevent missclicks, you have to hold down the skill button for like 6 or 7 (haha) seconds, during that charging period it functions like a really powerful shield block and a really powerful charge/heal. You will cause a giant self explosion when getting possessed.

You can do a big brain play by collecting just enough power to get heals and buffs but not to get possessed, but the move will get put on cooldown even if you don’t go all the way with charging it. But once the cooldown is up you will vomit up blood and lose health for the amount of health you gained before.

With this you can do some weird ass heal loop thing but that’s probably more effort than anyone wants to do to make this shit work.

it’ll also make your character look like Seigfried/Nightmare from Soulcalibur

That drip alone is worth literally losing :skull:
Every game needs the ability that is terrible and literally just kills you.

So like just apotheosis

Sort of, but the other way around. Apotheosis was said to often be used to start a fight and something that tends to happen somewhat naturally. This one would be done to end a fight (whether that be through killing, dying, or creating distance) and would be a lot more of a conscious decision. The best comparison would be durza’s iconic “kill everybody except the intended target” blast.
