yes the first episode and I did not find it appealing to my interest
You can’t just watch the first episode of an internationally well received anime and say you “just didn’t find it appealing to your interests”. Give it a chance. While some aspects of it may seem a bit dated, it still holds up as one of the best romance animes ever made.

What type of romance anime do you like though?
Forming an opinion after watching only the first episode is dumb. I saw the 1st episode of Kaiju No. 8 and thought it was great (until it shat the bed), watched the 1st episode of Kamikatsu, thought it was shit, and yet, after watching more, it became my anime of the year.
