should arcane odyssey have a storyline branch similar to deltarnue weird route? (the player uses unethical methods to force iris to be strong early, then skip a piece of the story)
  • yes, let us commit crimes most horrible
  • same as above but less bad
  • dude wtf are you talking about

if you want branching storyline, what do you want a branch to be?
  • player joins the aesir order
  • fights the abberation instead of restoring the dark sea
  • other (specify(haha comment bait))

a pool

die in a fire.

not if I have a pool

you know elden ring’s frenzy flame ending?
I think it’d be neat if we just had the option to burn everything to the ground

Sightseeker route
Inevitable end of everything
Greatest creator of all
Higher the forgiving chaos
There, everything and nothing

Btw pool’s second option remind me of DOOM

cazal get the fuck out of my topic

now that i think of it, i should’ve added another branching storyline option of “player meets secret npc each chapter and regains memories”

time to copy Cazal

Also perhaps there could be a point where Morden realizes that we are effectively not the same person he once knew before getting away from the order thanks to being hit on the head, and he might try to take Iris with him when he goes to leave us as much as it may hurt him mentally to do so.

Perhaps it could also cause a spike in our ruthlessness afterwards, leading to more violence, and our bounty raises story wise from the excessive use of violence, maybe a 2nd kingdom de-throned?

maybe when planned to return to bronze, Morden and iris would have gone ahead of us to get Neviro as we start to become a person that will be feared more and more across the war seas
