yes I do think you should try it.
just in the first book, it really shows what it offers in terms of world building. it throughs everything at you and shows you what could be, its also really short in 8 books. really nice if you’d like to start a manga collection in a short time/cheap.
I do believe there is more than edge to it but we may have differing results, I would like to recommend you to see is as a really gritty wasteland post apocalypse world, where everyone is desperate.
its still fantastical in its depiction however, even if realistic at times. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did… hopefully…
