I can see the appeal, but I feel like it’s restrictive, in a way.
I mean, it pretty much locks you to one side of the rep spectrum. Part of the stuff you get has to go to the guild bank, etc, etc.
Is it just me that feels this way, or are there other people that try to stay away from guilds?
Me and two other friends already made a guild discord server before the game fully came out. It was going to be a chill friend guild with a nice name and logo. They got bored of WoM by the time guilds came and I too don’t want to make one because of the guild community.
They take guilds and infamy too seriously to the point where it’s just kids and their gaming pcs building their irrelevant egos behind a 2D logo.
If guilds are updated with more recreational activities and features like guild hall building instead of PvP I would definitely make one.
I don’t think most guilds care about the bank unless it’s solo but that’s a different personal the main thing to most guilds is that internet number you get from mass murdering
I say this to people who make guids or are wanting to join one;
“When you sign up for a guild, you are basically signing up to becoming a competitive PvPer. You are signing up to getting ganked and rk’d by other guids. You are signing up to do the same to others.”
So I can see why you don’t want to. Getting random killed is annoying.
The guild bank isnt bad though.
You don’t NEED to contribute to yours unless there is a tax that will tax your chests or if you need to contribute to stay in the guild.
