Using platinum armor or silver because you’re to broke to find gold?

I never would fight it with anything higher than silver, since you don’t actually need to kill it to get the pickaxe

I usually get that later on, getting access to hellstone as early on is useful

don’t need damage reduction if you just avoid getting hit

damn i think you should try to kill some of the local enemies to get the summon for the boss, i heard its accessory gives damage resistance
