if so, two questions

  • what is your biggest gripe with the game? mine’s the connectivity issues

  • are you planning to get splathree or play the testfire?

  1. definitely having to use a smartphone app to get the gear you want with the abilities you want and how long it probably takes to get enough ability chunks

  2. already have the testfire downloaded

i couldnt get into splatoon 2 because of connection issues, 30$ pay-in to play online, and farming for good stuff is not fun

might play splatoon 3 casually like 2 idk

  2. i’m pretty sure you can play open it on the 25th too, though aside from a tutorial not sure what else you can do.

i think you can mess around in the test range as well, and i wanna go into the splatfest blind since it seems more fun

  1. Mostly played casual so I can’t think of something off the top of my head but the weapon grind was kinda annoying. The new ticket system is so much better.

  1. oh man i really like the ticket system, especially the fact you can use multiple tickets to get a weapon that’s above your level. unsure if i want to transfer my save data too, i like getting 3 weapons off the bat with those golden tickets but i kinda want to start fresh

i thought it only transferred your rank in ranked mode, does it do more?

  1. gives you three Golden Tickets, where you can get any three weapons you want right off the bat
  2. Opens Anarchy Battles right away and transfers your rank
  3. Pits you against people of a similar skill level that also transferred their data

When Splatoon 2 came out, I played the hell out of it back in 2017-2018 in aftercare, we had tournaments and stuff and everyone could come in with their switches or use the ones the aftercare counselors brought with them. We hooked stuff up to big tv’s and everything. Even played super smash too.

I forgot about the game for a few months and came back when they introduced the whole subscription for playing online thing. Like what the hell? I think I still bought it anyways, but I quit after that.
