The joke was that AO had gliders and cooking, similar to breath of the wild. While your statement suggested that the difference between AO and Genshin was that Genshin took inspiration from BOTW; when, in all actuality, both games appear to be taking some aspect of BOTW and making a small unique twist on it. Thus, irony, which equals comedy
