i’d like modifiers if they all had an atlantean essence like item, but they’re just incredible rng and grind to get the one specific item with the one specific modifier on it

lubricant creates lesser friction, this much is obvious. therefore, theoretically, it would soften the impact of your punches (less friction, less kinetic energy)
but, an excessive amount would create a deficit (think of a water bottle being filled over the brim), leading to a negative number of friction-ness, making punches stronger
i would approve if i didnt hate ravenna /j
