Just add a special faction uniform customisation screen at the respective bases on an NPC, with accessories and outfits that unlock more at certain ranks. If you look at stuff like JTN’s characters, the amount of diversity and uniqueness each one has in Navy/Syndicate are just insane, I love each of these factions aesthetic/lore but the way they work in-game is just really lackluster. Ranking up to a decent rank being locked to sweating your ass off with the PvP day and night is really annoying too.

Isn’t blackreach’s nightime wood theme same as for any forest wilderness?
Also the tower is kinda there, it’s smaller compared to the Silent Tower.
a faction tailor that makes vanity like the guild blacksmith npc but for gravy/syndicate players would so easily fix this.
and it’d be cool if players could assign unique uniforms (through said tailor) for subdivisions too

Or adding a sort of allegiance function where a clan or person can be deemed a “contractor” for the faction, but not officially part of it. Maybe add a mandatory armband or a badge or some other neat little thing that bypasses slot limits (to denote your status of being allied with them), so that you can have your nice drip and at least some benefits of the organisation, without all of the burdens.

Maybe you’d have to take up certain assignments for the patron faction once in a while to improve or maintain standing with them, as well as making their ships completely off-limits for attack (but you can now board them too).
What would the point of boarding them be if they never have merchants? (assuming it’s a kingdom faction you decided to be contracted by)
Good question, now I’m just throwing ideas about willy-nilly but what if you could join an organisation’s ship’s crew on a hunt for a designated target as part of a repeatable mission or quest, such as a small group of pirate ships or assassins, or non-miniboss criminals with no assigned rivals, or other miscellaneous tasks (maybe even specific structures like some kind of small strongholds they might be sent to destroy?

How do you get no torso or arms? I tried toggling both Torso and Arms off in vanity but it still shows arms or torso no matter what
