A magic to make you lose everyone and everything you love?

well look no further, for a new ancient magic from typicak is here to solve this pickle

COGNITIVE DECAY MAGIC

a strange static appearing energy, this ancient magic does not deal much damage, and isn’t very special in any stat, in fact, it’s rather bad for an ancient magic stat wise, however, this magic causes it’s victims to literally forget how to use their own arsenal, usually targeting the opponent’s strongest current item obtained, when this happens, temporarily, that item in the hotbar will literally vanish, the opponents view will also become fuzzy, hazy, as nothing seems to have a meaning anymore, everything slowly becoming more and more unknown and terrifying, just like real dementia…

STATS

speed: 1.1x
Power: 0.8x
clash: phases through any other magic, so it has no clash.
size: 1.0x

applies the “declined” effect, which when successfully applied 5 times in a row, will remove a weapon in the opponent’s arsenal. this causes the declined effect turn into the “fogged” effect.

unique interactions with other magics:

15% more damage if the opponent is drained.

it doesn’t have many synergies with base elementals, a lot of synergies are from other lost or ancient magics like darkflame, darkness, and death magic.

protostar magic

a powerful combination of sand and sun magic, protostar magic is an incredibly rare and powerful magic, allowing for the user to attack with burning cosmic dust and plasma.

a protostar in nature is a newly forming star, which gathers mass from a molecular cloud that surrounds it, made up of cosmic debris and dust.

as for the magic itself, protostar magic grants the user with a unique molecular field of their own, a large, fast spinning ring of plasma and dust around the user, granting increased defense and damaging opponents that get too close.

protostar projectiles will have molecular fields around them too, swirling a burning blueish white orb.

when a protostar projectile misses and hits the surface of the ground, it will linger there, gradually building up a molecular cyclone around it, dealing constant damage if an opponent stands near it, unless defused by another magic or by other means, it can last for a total of 15 seconds.

STATS:

damage: 1.1x
speed: 0.9x
size affinity: 1.1x
terrain destruction: 1.0x
structure destruction: 1.2x and ignites wooden structures and objects.
clash: overall pretty great, but loses to heavy magics like such as metal and magma.

interactions with other magics and extra info

deals 10% more damage if an opponent is singed, sandy, melting, bleeding, burned, charred, or scorched.

deals 15% more damage if an opponent is crystalized

deals 20% more damage if an opponent is blinded (light magic)

deals 25% more damage if an opponent is petrified, removes petrified upon doing so.

deals 25% less damage if an opponent is frozen, removes frozen upon doing so.

deals 20% less damage if an opponent is drained (shadow magic)

deals 15% less damage if an opponent is soaked, freezing, or snowy

the plasma ring that appears around the user will last for 6 seconds after using any attack or move from the magic’s spell list, it will vanish after not using protostar magic for a prolonged amount of time, the time is stays can stack up to 12 seconds, however if used consecutively, the time it’s increased by to 12 is halved.

6 seconds from first attack

use second attack, now it adds 3 seconds

now it adds just 1.5 seconds per attack.

adds 0 seconds if used too often, but when the timer drops to 0 and the field vanishes, it resets and can reappear, but requires a cooldown before doing so. (you can still use protostar spells, just not have a defensive barrier for a limited amount of time.)

protostar magic cannot be used underwater.

Magic Weapons

Ancient Spell
Make weapons made from pure magical energy
Allows the user to make weapons made from magic. Damage increases on strength, magic and weapon stat.
Ancient Spell for Weapons, Magic and Strength users.
Usage: Cast a magic circle, slowly forming a weapon of the users choice, when fully formed the weapon will glow with the users magic respectively.
Animation: User holds their arm out with a magic circle, with magic particles forming a weapon and then explodes with magic particles forming the magic weapon.

Weapons go from a great hammer to a flintlock. possibly artisan and strength weapons.

finished after a week of procrastinating.

Why increase on strenght stat ? This ain’t a fighting style

Lost Magic: Unconscious Magic

Unconcious magic is an odd magic, it does not use elements but instead sends a wave of mental energy to the target. This mental energy can manipulate the conscious/ subconscious of the enemy.

Effects:

Manipulation of the conscious mind:
When hitting an opponent, on their screen, the user will start to phase out of existence, however their magic circle still lingers. Over time this effect will worsen

Manipulation of the subconscious mind:
If a player does not clear themselves of the first effect (not getting hit by the user for 7 seconds), the effects will worsen. The users chats/ messages will start to disappear for the target, the user becomes completely invisible , and their magic circle will also start to phase out of existence. The user may also fail at casting magic/ using an attacks and "homing" attacks may not home/ lock on a user

Manipulation of the Unconscious:
The last stage of this effect. If the target does not clear themselves of the second effect after 12 seconds, they will reach the last stage. The user completely becomes invisible, alongside their magic circles, their incantations, all their messages in chat, etc. This effect wears off after around 6-11 seconds.

Size: 0.9x
Terrain Destruction: 0.45x
Structure Destruction: 0.60x

Sand magic creating bigger piles would be nice
(The current sand piles are halfway through the ground which makes them look small)
Islands with Canyons and Dunes with like sand whirlpools would be cool
