Arcane Odyssey storyline ends up in Y1,857. Does that means thats our character can leave War seas and reach Magius after destroying The Order?
Maybe in terms of lore, but in actual game play I doubt it.
Vetex doesn’t plan on connecting Magius to AO anytime soon(with the exception of the relics)

Okay I don’t see anything related to World of Magic in there so it probably is non-canon

Some of this lore is pretty wonky though all things considered.
Example:
I’m pretty sure we used maths to calculate that the earth was round long before anyone had to circumnavigate the globe.
pretty sure all the constant wars and problems made them forget about this world (people in the war seas don’t even know about the seven seas nor the old sea and deep sea, and viceversa)
Well that was kinda the same with the Greeks and Romans and Egyptians too, and yet they still had people inventing and figuring out stuff on the side.
More likely it’s just an oversight from Vetex (or he legitimately thinks this is how people figured out the earth was round).
Its the 1850s there’s still no usa, no spencer rifles, no machine, no industrial revolution… just a mix of medieval and greek technology

yeah, all tho is wasn’t considered due to religious believes (many people have been killed at the start of the arcane world, from 1000wa, following the start of a new age, there’s was yet another war and ect. Many of these wars following other wars killed off from 40% to 80% of the population at those times, so there was no other focus other than war and magic)
you got something wrong there, the 1850s in the arcane universe aren’t the same 1850s in our world
the year 0 in ao begins when prometheus gives magic to humanity. in our world’s greek mythology, prometheus gives them fire instead, and that event happened WAYYY before our world’s year 0, so it makes sense why they have that level of technology.
that and the excess of magic wars slowing down technologic progression of course

This is a different universe, not a fantasy representation of our world’s antiquity, so there will never be USA here.
But let’s think about technology. To be honest, for some reason it seems to me that the magical potential is dissipating, that is, someday magic will disappear in this universe, but judging by the information from the wiki, I was wrong.
So its would be nice to see combination of technology and magic someday.
