Anyone else think it would be cool if Vetex pulled more from Greek mythology, like not just the base mythology but other things such as titans(from what I rember only Prometheus is the titan who made a major impact), monsters(only sirens and dragons currently and satyrs and centaurs in future updates) and heroes. Imagine a fighting style or strength weapon based of off Heracles, or imagine fighting a hydra, or imagine Epimetheus helping Prometheus in creating curses…
I don’t think he can pull too much. All he can pull are monsters to put in the Dark Sea as enemies. His lore contradicts Greek Mythology to a degree, so you can’t get much from there in terms of the early universe, and all the gods are “dead” at this point in time and most of the War of the Gods is already set in stone.
I suppose you could have some heroes, at the very least. Perhaps some demigods as well, as they’re still around IIRC.
but yeah we do need more greek mythology, but i cant trust someone whose only understanding of it is probably percy jackson.

im not even an avid greek mythology reader but ive read a couple dozens of wikipedia pages over time because of boredom and a bunch of stories i like use it as inspiration

would be cool to see a japan influenced by greek gods instead of hindu gods and how that would affect them but its likely just gonna be feudal Japan where every man runs around with a katana aint it
(i will soyface if he makes the effort to not make them all be generic samuraimen with katanas and actually give them weapons they’d use like bayonets since muskets exist or at the very least spears)

If they don’t use at least spears as a main weapon that would suck considering the fact they’re really good weapons AND the Japanese did use them quite a bit
He could at least watch some of the mythology Youtubers. There are really great channels out there that I think he could be interested in. I even have a playlist of various mythtuber videos related to stuff in AO! But I doubt Vetex will listen to some random fan like me

well iirc john thorne is from ryujin (for some reason) and, im not honestly not where the hell is thí knowledge from but i vaguely recall about ryujin having the most advanced technology (mundane, not magical stuffs) so chances are we gonna see guns and shit from them
he reads that the odyssey is a story about only one dude returning alive while everyone else died and focus on the “everyone else died” a bit too much (for legal reasons this is sarcasm)
