Arcane Abyss Sea, the Atlantean Infection AU

I need to ask that can warding equipment or vanity weapons / equipment slow or stop the process of mutation…

Being how there blessed by gods and hold godly properties…

I don’t know if anyone else has said this

there are some other stories I have read

someone somewhere i think had mentioned Warding potions temporarily bringing sanity back to those that have mutated, and someone else had a mutated character wearing a object that gave warding

So it’s kinda like some are gifted… or based on in game sanity like (2 warding) and (5 insanity) will still kill you, because i’ve done something like that before in the game…

the most popular consensus is that warding helps against insanity but doesnt do anything to slow or stop mutation after getting infected

but what about oracle weapons or armor, being blessed by the gods themselves they must have some effect?

or what about the oracle build just itself

curses if i remember right are made up of spirit energy and they react negatively to magic energy

and alongside that turning into an atlantean is caused by an extreme exposure to magic pollution

so i think its possible that oracles and any user of spirit energy could do something similar to magic aura and make it harder for themselves to get infected (by basically surrounding themselves in spirit energy which would react negatively with the magic energy and prevent it from reaching you… maybe this might actually be a stretch but its a neat idea)

just asking to make sure because it’s been a idea i’ve had in the back of my head for a while

I lowkwey wanna Poland based culture and some liberation war plot to take part in

I’ve heard of using warding reagents to temporarily withstand getting infected, but warding armor specifically? Maybe…? It can’t be too far off

Are you getting the countries wrong or am I just stupid

There was no century without war yet

Would protect your mind from insanity but not your body from slightly mutating or water poisoning
You probably could make sane Atlanteans with enough warding gear

Counterpoint: Atlantean-ied mutation probably causes irreversible damage to the brain, so they’ll be more akin to a zombie than a human

All this talk about curing Atlanteans when you can just cook them up and skip all that hassle

The windrow wolves have done that
Now they’re Atlanteans

look arcane abyss sea ain’t getting retconned

Clearly they didn’t cook it then, typical of moronic bandits like them

no its dev making silly excuses to make cookable atlantean meat
change the recipe to require golden petals

If someone gets mutated they are definitely already damaged beyond repair
What I am saying is if you got warding while mutating you probably won’t be as insane

Amputation exists
