lightning is the most common used magic so i would appeal to the most people, but elius is lightning so either it’s redundant, or i make it an iron sharpen iron moment
Make the mc like ace from onepiece but more detail and clothing
It would be nice if the mc was a wind or light savant. we need to cover as many builds as possible here
i think a light build would do the best seeing as now i can make all his attack easier bc most look like dbz attacks in yellow or (better yet) moon light, i was thinking light savant with magic, weapons and vitality, when i go for design i’m aiming for someone that looks like they use that magic, ex my shadow conjurer, is in a red suit you get from start bc it’s suppose to be sinister, nothing super crazy bc the more i add the more i gotta detail, and i want this thing out before heat death of universe bc i am the only animator.

Hmm, I made my AO MC based off the established lore of the MC, this was because I really wanted to make an AO comic like Trollus’ for AA, but I kinda gave up on it, or at least will do it in a few years when story is a bit more far… I have some dot points that led me to creating the personality.
- Morden is MC’s Lancer (A lancer is basically a character who’s close to a story’s MC, but also their complete opposite). I kinda made my AO MC blonde for the contrast. Also, Sunlight Light magic ig ( think they can get three magics canonically anyway, the builds in-game are somewhat gameplay only stuff).
They’re likely opposites in the same way that Iris and Neviro are.
Use edgy Morden as a reference for any blanks in their character. - MC lacks subtlety. the whole getting captured happened because they failed at hiding in some way. Four times.
*Going with the above point, MC has a certain charisma where they tend to attract more attention. People pointed out that they seem to be the kind of person that you see once, and would pretty much remember right away. Again, Morden is the opposite, no one knew him. - Remember, you’re making an amnesiac who doesn’t remember stuff. So they’re the type of person who can sometimes ask dumb questions. Morden notes they talk more now after the memory loss
- They’re not completely dumb either. Managed to figure out that Shura was causing the sea problems mid-fight. My personal headcanon is that they process things better during fights, but you can have a different perspective.
- They’re reckless, in the sense they’re not good at considering consequences. Furthermore, they’re a character with hubris. They’re overconfident in their abilities. Not to the point of arrogance though (thinking you’re better than others).
- MC has a strong sense of justice. To the point that they’re willing to kill if it’s for the greater good. They take pride is using their powers for good. But not to the point of killing innocents. According to Vetex, MC was genuinely shocked when they found out so many guards died as a result of their fight against General Argos, but had to reason with themselves that it was for the greater good. When it comes to pursuing justice, they can become rather impulsive it seems.
Use this as a reference if you want. My AO MC uses Water, Lightning, Light. Also, you might wanna be on the look out for Vitality builds too, cause it might have more significance to their lore than you might expect.
i wanted to make him a vitality user but i wasn’t sure:
A: what vitality looks like besides knowing they have spirit weapons
B: if he willingly chose this that kinda make him a masochist, which i don’t mind but it seems like a contrast, we might make a warden build in game, but i think most of us would choose it in universe.
also the whole ask dumb questions but not really dumb thing made me think of luffy.
Might make more sense if you can also do all four builds at once (Savant). Because the different stat builds and their restrictions in-game are mostly for gameplay, I think it works closer to AA’s system (awakens a new magic per awakening, but still able to use weapons and fists), just with the addition of Vitality too.
I mean, its confirmed theyre canonically a savant, just a better one that Calvus 
Im mentioning Vitality builds as they seem to have more relevance in lore as it was recently revealed that only Gods can naturally use Spirit Energy, an ability that no human is able to use (only through Spirit Weapons), but MC is most likely a descendant of a God, so theyre not exactly a normal human in this sense.
So Vitality might be more important as basically MC is one of the only people who can probs access their powers normally. Just something to keep in mind too
