hey, i brought this up in another chat, people seemed to like it, so i figured i would make a topic on it… thats kinda it i was gonna make 4 episodes, one for each chapter (and chapter 4 and together bc there isn’t enough to make one episode for it) prob 30 to 40 mins, but i wanted to post this for a few reasons, one bc i wanna know if y’all really want it, two bc i wanna ask Vetex if i can monetize it (all money goes to him via patreon, i don’t want money, i just wanna see the ame do well). third bc I need help from you guys making concept art of the characters, i can pick up any style but i cant make my own. and forth… what magic and build would he use, the design is gonna be chosen by community as well. if you choose to help, i do need a male and female sketch, bc of iris, tilly and carina, please use the starter clothing not gear, you can us weapons in design.

for the mc’s build, canonically they’re a savant so that would be good, as for their magic though, that’s up for debate, but i personally think water is a good match because it’s general neutrality and our connection with poseidon
You should totally go for it, we need more visual sutuff in this era, i kinda disagree that vetex would get 100% revenue(nothing against him) and i think things like these need some kind of reward to keep the motivation in.
No don’t say our support is enough u need stuff, like actualy real stuff.
I didn’t know the MC was canonically a savant but knowing lots of things is a very MC like trait so uh…

Fighting style can either be boxing or basic, water can support the size so it’s playable as well, prolly. Also bleed synergy. Please use hand bandages those thicc gloves I don likey arghhh.
Dagger, nice knife to go around filleting fish and other foods, it’s literally ur starter weapon.
Dual swords, a fine MC choice of weapons
Greatsword/Great Weapons, maybe they’re strong and also in personality.
Bow, careful and calculating
Sunken Sword, that is one lucky MC
Shield, ahem, inhales, THE POWA OF FRIENDSHIPPPPP
Magic Savant, they’re smart and will try to think things out, maybe
Fighting Savant, avergae harem MC that doesn’t know sh*t and dumb as hell.
Is this just going to be the story? Or will you add in other stuff from the game like Edward, Enizor who technically are join the player in the story but are not as important.
if i start now i might have one episode out before the addition of warden build. ironically this is gonna take longer than vetex making his game, i think I’ll do all of bronze sea, then see what the community thinks. If they really like it, then I’ll do more episodes, the only time i’ll include quest is maybe fighting styles, another thing i want an opinion on is quarter master quests, do I keep those quest in there? keep in mind that would make like 3 mins of the animation just fishing and that seems lame. also how do awakenings work for savant, i never made a build like that before bc pure builds always seemed easier.
i may have to twist the story, which is funny bc i always complained about book turned movies leaving stuff out, but also i dont wanna have a fishing scene maybe not 20 fish… OH I KNOW, i’ll put his dialogue in while you fish, and then he can join. I was thinking about adding in side jokes about the ame in there, but i’m a fifth gen that fell in love with the game so i don’t know any. Ok last note for this post, if the show does well in the first 4 episodes, i’ll make one with are character exploring the dark sea after every thing
it is nice that the dialogue is done already all i need is someone who wants there art style for the show, you will be credited of course. but ik there are talented artist on this website, and people that care about the game. oh and about dialogue i need to know what you guy think the character should sound like, mc morden iris calvus elius carina, the whole gang.
if you want to include the enizor quest i think it could be in a short montage of mc doing some of the other side quests in frostmill too
for the edward one, you don’t have to show them catching every fish, just have them start fishing and then cut to the end where it’s maybe evening or night now
anyone got any idea on what the character should be like? iris gave me a tempered vibe, morden was kinda cold and detached, neviro seems serious, elius and carina seemed cocky, calvus is gonna sound like a chad, tilly just your average woman, ruby is gonna be heavy pirat voice, i think thats all the main court, anyone got any other ideas or clashes with my curent cannon
An anime is quite the big stretch, especially if your working indie a 30-40 minute (decent) quality animation can take months if not years, if your dedicated to the grind i can’t say anything . If you have the talent why not just make instead (much less workload, dialog issues, much less everything in general)
another thing i was considering was doing only the boss fights, that way i can focus on a more detailed fight for each one, and i can make each one closer to the release date of a new chapter, if i get more people than just me working on the anime i might do the whole thing, but that is much later down the line, yeah i’ll just do fights.
