-not to mention the inventions to human body modification stuff that let you change your height, hair color, eyes’ color, possibly color of your blood, color, and also can make your magic to have more variations like pure white for light or obsidian for glass!
I mean flesh manipulation would be pretty sick, however this serves better as not being a type of magic but instead either a fighting style of sorts

World of magic isn’t really as connected as AA is to AO
Sorry but I can’t tell if you’re saying that WoM isn’t as connected to AO as it is to AA or that AA is more connected to AO than to WoM. Cause if it’s the latter then that’s basically objectively false since WoM is essentially a soft sequel to AA
Sure it takes place 1000+ years after but it’s set in the same sea cluster, was shaped by the events of what happened in AA (Durza blowing up half the cluster and the PK raising Magius), and even has some of the same characters (PK, Trigno, Averill, Arsen, technically John Thorne if we got there in AA, possibly Freedrock?)
At the moment, the only thing AO and AA share is being set on the same world (same goes for WoM) but different sea clusters and a little bit of influence from AA with the Wrath of the Gods being the side effects of Durza’s self-explosion. There’s of course little easter eggs here and there like some dark sea ghosts and the great protector religion, but WoM would’ve had the same
If AA is the original Star Wars movies and Online Fighting is the prequels, then WoM is the sequels (I hate to say that about my GOAT but I had to 
) while AO is like the Mandalorian or something. Basically all are set in the same universe but AO/Mando are their own story mostly separate from AA/WoM/the OG/sequels with some crossover here and there
