Arcane Odyssey is truly World of Magic™

I mean, who know? Maybe it don’t have to be democracy, it just need to look like one.

Don’t know much about North Korea, but I assume its leaders spy on other countries from time to time, so they are at least somewhat in touch with whats happening. Skyhall doesn’t do that

Pretty sure they still have ties with other sky island, correct me if im wrong tho. I mean what else the king been doing?

Doesn’t our first dialogue with Hale explains why they didn’t put our deeds in Agora?

You mean Cirrus? Unlikely

Thats why I say what I say, Hale mention they dont want us to be associated with them because we are criminal. Which mean we are known enough for international organisations to avoid associating with us.

That being said, Sameria would most likely have their own people in Ravenna as embassador/spy/envoy, I pretty sure Nilah already know about our crime in Ravenna, hence why she never mention a single thing about King Calvus IV.

That being said, still don’t explain why tf we should go straight to the ally of our enemy, I was scared as shit when I first arrive in Sameria. Like why we can’t just “Yeah sorry uhh, I’m just passing by. Cannot stay for long” instead of “Yeah sure why not?”

Pretty sure it was mention somewhere in dialogues with Allanon when he showcase his Skyship development.

Also it dont have to be cirrus only, it can be other sky island too. Might need to look up the dialogue again.

Huh, that is most likely to be true. But why would she hide it? Is she that desperate to win a war she is more eager to let us fight alongside her than to “rightfully“ arrest us for our “crimes“?

If what you said about Nilah already knowing about us is true, then our refusal to join the war would lead to an immediate arrest, and our lone braincell may have understood that, so we agreed

I honestly doubt Silas is bright canonically. We might be strong and righteous but prolly not very bright.

Even then, if let say Nilah know about our crime, its honestly preferable if she just arrest us. I mean would you:

  1. Trust random criminal who murder your ally and probably would murder you
  2. Trust Ally that with you for a long time, who have curses and army that can help fighting enemy in war

I swear if Nilah isn’t revealed to know all along then ts will be more nonsense:sob:

Alright, then how about: the Oathkeepers found out that we killed Calvus and why, then they noticed that we went in the direction of Sameria, and so they warned Nilah about our deeds and about all the evil stuff Calvus has done to deserve death

I’m pretty sure it is normal to use gilders to reach Skyhall, but most people get injured/die trying to reach it with them? I think it’s something along those lines

No you can join the Oathkeepers at the end of Hale’s questline, saying that it isn’t fair for you to just be a honorary member or something akin to that

  1. Why Nilah sent an outsider on a diplomatic mission? Such action could be considered disrespectful, should Skyhall learn about this. Envoy must be taught how to behave there and etc. And how the hell she knows we are not a Keraxe’s spy?

all of the kingdoms in ao that we know of are monarchies, there are no elections

except the corsairs, they are more of a republic

The only logical explanation is our theory about Oathkeepers warning Nilah about us, so she’d have known what we are all along

I do have a sneaking suspicion that Nilah/Sameria is in the Order (Morden says that one of the generals was giving him bad vibes) so her sending us to Skyhall, despite not being an official envoy could be a way for her to get rid of us, or at least get rid of us for a time. If I had to guess it was to meet with other Order members on what to do with Keraxe since they aren’t working with the Order iirc, so they do pose a genuine threat to Sameria, this isn’t just two kingdoms pretending to have a war

Or maybe I’m just going crazy and way to speculative lol

I personally doubt glider is “normal” per se cuz when we went to get it everyone was like “Well Goodluck brotato.”

Also isnt the glider is like prototype or something?

Yeah I just remember that:thinking:

I decline cuz I have my clan already. I also remember that it’s because one of the big guy is our back up. My theory is Warren is among them. Now the hidden crime part kinda makes sense.

Which is another problem with Skyhall arc. I understand it is emergency envoy but like, are we like the only possible candidate that can survive the Vent? If that so then Sameria is cooked :sob:

That just example but I just hope for better politics overall. It can be anything. It can be simple if thats required for good politics story.

Could be but like I said, its better to turn in first class criminal of allied country for their assistance than fricking get that same criminal to be part of your war main force, hell even inviting them to secret meetings. I mean anyone can be trusted in desperate times but why tf invite stranger into this kind of meeting?

Also pretty sure Oathkeeper only known among Oathkeeper, like they won’t warn Nilah at all cuz they swear for secrecy.

I doubt Nilah/Sameria is part of the order. I mean logically speaking Order might play safe cuz calvus suppose to be strong and we fold him.

But Nilah don’t have any reason to be working with us if she with the order. I believe Order is already very strong + they are proficient in silent assassin so I doubt she need someone like us to defend herself in the first place, and I believe for that same reason Keraxe decided to attack Sameria. Wotan for all we know can be part of the order.

Anyway, I can kinda cook theory on this but maybe later. Thanks you all for the response. This is a damn good discussion.

honestly yeah probably, all the generals plus iris and morden were sent to other important missions, an average samerian soldier or envoy definitely isnt making the journey

maybe she could have sent a commander or something? but nilah kinda needs all the manpower she can use

The envoy part still tick me off cuz we aint like sending message from one dude to another. We basically representing the whole country. I mean she can send the random dude to war instead of her people and send her strong trusted people as envoy instead of us. So for whatever reason, we being send is like middle finger from both party.

Emerson calling us sea s**t before shredding the paper and we being random guy being sent as envoy instead of someone that actually came from Sameria just show that Vetex is not really good in writing politics. Do I want to diss him for this? No! Politics is hard to write and Vetex is more of Fantasy writer that want some form of realism in his story rather than realist writer who want to write fantasy story.

On another note, Both Sameria and Skyhall are lucky we definitely not a war criminal that terrorize a kingdom and steal pumpkins on curtis farm. Cant we just buy pumpkin instead of stealing it?
