Dude literally same here, I made my rival into an OC because he’s so special/important to me. Honestly I love the whole rival system it’s just really cool, one thing I wish though is that rivals could have other titles instead of just “The Wanted Criminal”, like add the deckhand titles to them and I think it’d be perfect
Agree, my rival is important to me too. Yall can’t imagine how happy I was when my guy has finally got some better drip after being stuck in iron/titanium armour for all this time prior to FR. He is already frozen in terms of his weaponry: just one wooden staff, nothing else.
I remember some suggestion about a merchant npc that you can pay to deliver items to your rival, so you could customise them. We need this
My rival is similar, he’s stuck with dual flintlocks, doesn’t mean he can’t deal some scary damage if he lands his multi shot move (deals 100+ per shot) lol
mine goes from bun with wood to fricking monster with both water and wood
