These are 5 Fun and Useful Features Arcane Odyssey Should Have:
1. Captain Quarters Build/Customization Mode
The Captain’s Quarters onboard the Brig should have a Build/Customization Mode where you can edit the positions of existing furniture, add or remove furniture, or customize the colors and materials of the walls and floor.
This allows for vast customization of the Captain’s Quarters allowing the Captain to create their own unique space onboard their ship.
2. Ship’s Cargo Hold Player Access and Cargo Management GUI
Your ship’s Cargo Hold is an unused part of your ship and would allow for larger cargo runs, along with protecting your cargo from being stolen by other players.
While your cargo is stored in your Cargo Hold, It will be saved even if you leave the game, but will only sell for 70% of its value gained by the distance the cargo traveled from where you purchased it, to when you sold it. This only applies to Cargo Crates.
Your Cargo Hold is able to hold** up to 3x more cargo** than on your deck, where if your deck can hold 50 Crates, your cargo hold will be able to hold 150 Crates.
With this feature, you can go below deck by opening a grate on your ship, and are able to place cargo in your cargo hold manually.
Don’t want to manually manage your cargo? You could hire one of your Deckhands as a Cargo Manager, allowing you to manage your Cargo that is either placed on the Deck or in your Cargo Hold via a Shop-like GUI when you speak to them, where you can request to** Load cargo**, either in your hand or on the deck, or unload cargo onto your deck or to sell to the nearest shipwright.
They can also request your crew to load cargo onto your ship from the nearest shipwright, allowing your** cargo to be loaded automatically for 60 Galleons Per Crate** instead of 50 if you do it yourself.
Unloading still remains free when requested by a Quartermaster, but if requested by your Cargo Manager, they will account for the time it took to get from the island where your purchased your cargo, to where you sold your cargo, they will give you up to 100 Galleons per crate if delivered from Rubica, Ravenna to Redwake in under a certain amount of time.
3. Custom Messages and Advertisements on the Agora News
The Agora News is a easy way of spreading a message across the War Seas (in your server) without having to copy and paste that message, in order send it to every player in your server.
It would be primarily useful for Trading, asking for help defeating a boss, or even promoting your Clan.
With this feature, you will be able to visit a Agora News Office on some of the main islands, such as Ravenna or Palo Town, where you can send either a Message or an Advertisement in a GUI that looks like as if you were writing your message on a piece of paper, allowing for the ability to write an Advertisement or a Message.
Messages:
Writing a Message allows for up to 1000 Characters of text and up to 1 Image via Roblox Image ID.
Messages will stay on the Agora News for 1 in-game day and cost 100 Galleons.Messages will give you the ability to have** your own article on the Agora News** that has a single picture attached.
Messages are mainly useful for requesting trades, help with quests, or to fight bosses.
Advertisements:
Writing an Advertisement allows for up to 5000 Characters of text and up to 4 Images via Roblox Image ID.
Advertisements will stay on the Agora News for 5 in-game days and cost 500 Galleons.Advertisements will give you the ability to have an entire page of the Agora News to yourself, allowing you to make a headline, a short description, and make 4 news articles that have pictures attached to them.
Advertisements are mainly useful for promoting your Clan, forming teams to fight bosses, or to make your own personal news article.
4. Listen to Music onboard your Ship, or on your Claimed Island via Echos
(I know "Echos" is not the correct spelling, but you'll understand why shortly.)
Sailing gets kind of boring when doing cargo runs, and what better way to lighten the mood than listening to your favorite Music onboard your ship.
Introducing the Phonautograph:
The Phonautograph is a device that records sound via a large horn vibrating a stylus, which in turn creates the pits and grooves on a wax cylinder, known as an Echo.
The Phonautograph can record music onto a Blank Echo by entering a Roblox Sound ID into a GUI menu, that appears when you interact with it.
Establishing Echos:
Echos are a small cylindrical pipe-like tube that contain sound.
Echos are made out of wax, and the sound etched into them can be played back via Phonograph.Blank Echoes can be found in General Stores, and can be purchased in various different colors.
Lost Echoes can be found around the War Seas, either underwater, in sealed chests, or on islands, that contain one of Arcane Odyssey’s Soundtracks.
Echoes can be stored onboard your Ship, either in your Cargo Hold or in your Captain’s Quarter’s Storage Shelf, or in your Island’s Keep, or Barracks Storage.
Presenting the Phonograph:
The Phonograph, a device that plays music by reading the pits and grooves on an Echo, playing back the sound via a stylus connected to large horn.
The Phonograph can be placed on your Claimed Island using the Build Hammer, or in your Captain’s Quarters onboard the Brig via Build/Customization Mode.
The Phonograph can only play one Echo at a time.
5. Tabletop & Wall-mounted Picture/Artwork Frames
In addition to Build Mode for your Captain’s Quarters and your Island’s Build Hammer, you can now place down Customizable Picture/Artwork Frames, that allow you to Import any Roblox Image ID to display an Image or Artwork of your choice to display on your Island or Captain’s Quarters.
Wall-mounted Image Frames:
The New Wall-mounted Image Frames are especially useful for displaying Artwork about your Clan, Images of Epic Moments during your adventures, or just to display your Favorite Image. (Via Image ID)
The Wall-mounted Frames are Scaleable and can be found in the Following Aspect Ratios:
> Vertical: 9:16, 9:21, 9:32, 3:4, 1:1, Custom Size.
> Horizontal: 16:9, 21:9, 32:9, 4:3, 1:1, Custom Size. These frames can be Recolored using the Paintbrush Tool, and can only be placed on Fences, Walls, or on the front of Merchant Stand Counters.
Tabletop Image Frames:
The Tabletop Image Frames can be used to display images of different Items for Island Trading Centers, Images of Bosses or Sea Monsters, or any Roblox Image ID.
The Tabletop Frames are Scaleable and can be found in the Following Aspect Ratios:
> Vertical: 9:16, 3:4, 1:1, Custom Size.
> Horizontal: 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, Custom Size. These frames can be Recolored using the Paintbrush Tool, and** can only be placed on Crates, Tables, Merchant Stand Counters, Desks,** or on any Flat Surface.
Those were my ideas for the Arcane Odyssey: Quality of Life Update
I would really enjoy playing with these features, and hope to see this Suggestion make into the Final Game.

P.S. I wrote this myself and was as explicit as possible so that anyone can read it. I write using this form of speech so that if a developer would read it, they can understand it and follow it accordingly, and so I wrote it like a DevLog Style.
I am unable to reply to comments, but I went through and wrote this over the course of 2 days, and came up with this Idea during a cargo run, writing short bits into a Text Document, then entering more detail in this final version of the message.
I don’t use any AI to write fake suggestions to Video Game Developers, I write these as full on DevLogs for Developers or Players to read and view my idea.
I know I may sound like AI writing this message, but this is simply how I speak, due to the fact that, I’ve written things in the past resulting in confusion due to a limited choice of words.
Understand that this Idea may sound fake, but hear me out, I spent my time working on this message, to upload here, to hopefully one day be seen by a Developer.
Say what you want, Don’t believe that I’m a real person, I doesn’t matter to me.
