nobody said soaked is unbeneficial
The soaked effect only benefits three magics, snow, ice, and lightning. It hurts eight other magics, wind, sand, plasma, fire , magma, explosion, ash, and acid.

Acid/Ink/Magma/Plasma/Fire all have the substitute of the poison dagger
Not to mention all of them have very good alternatives (bleed from normal old weapons)
All of the magics it “hurts” except wind is buffed by every single bleed weapon other than wind
and 5 of them by literally every other weapon in the game.
Wind is already S tier so fuck wind (Has knockback if infuses on weapons too)
Sure. This is about the sunken sword not other weapons. It inflicts soaked which negates the bonuses from bleed.

Doesn’t Wind freeze people who’re soaked, which makes water + wind a deadly combination? Wind could easily inflict freezing now without relying on water as a second magic and can instead use Metal (which gets a massive bonus on frozen targets while also doing massive damage on it’s own).

Wind + Water doesn’t actually synergize with each other. You’re mistaking soaked with freezing which is a different status effect altogether.
