Honestly, it’d be pretty difficult to make spirit weapons something that hasn’t been done already. Regardless, when it comes to spirit weapons I imagine something closer to the claws of hades from GOW 3. Some ethereal and seemingly has a mind of it’s own. It’s own gimmick could be a life force meter that fills by draining enemy life force which can be used for empowering attacks, boosting the user’s regeneration, or various other things. The consequence of consistently missing your attacks being your own health. Just an idea of course.
Yeah, but it’s also not finished yet so ideally they do move it to attack size (it would make the most sense).

I dont think it’s a nerf but just a rework, since rn if you hit someone with a really low-damage attack you’ve basically wasted dot for a bit, especially with a magic like poison you can be doing like 2 hp per tick

First off, Snow is better than Ice in pretty much every way it stands. Same size and damage with considerably higher speed, and all of the same interactions. Second off, no, Snow is not directly worse than Sand. They have the exact same stats except for Snow’s lower damage, which is offset by its Freeze interactions with other magics. It’s a tradeoff. Damage for CC potential.
Make it so that when using Crash, you can click the casting key again in the middle of your rush to instantly end the move (with the slam and endlag)
Additionally, make it so that if you Crash abides by the clash rate moves (if you have a higher clash rate than an attack you’re running into, you take no damage and move slower/your move ends immediately)
I think this would be pretty cool but I’m gonna have to disagree w/ smash as that’d make the other option for it (shockwave iirc) irrelevant as you can quickly tap the key for smash and instantly stop your attack mid air. If you want an aerial attack then you gotta pick it, Smash shouldn’t have both on the same move slot. For crash though I could see this being fairly useful but probably just still not gonna happen.

there’s never going to be a world where shockwave smash is viable even after the 20% endlag reduction , it’s just this strange slow airstall option that isn’t really practical at all especially in the way FS is meant to be played , much less in the way it’s currently played (20% shot)
also he didn’t even mention smash in the original comment , he’s only talking about being able to end crash earlier (not really necessary because the direct hitbox is getting buffed by a pretty large margin)

There very much could be. Bring up it’s numbers and eventually you’ll get to a point where it’d be on par with what’s available now. Bring them up further and it could be overpowered. Just because something isn’t viable now doesn’t mean it can’t be altered or buffed in a way to make it viable. The intensity stat isn’t really viable and it’s getting an overhaul to become more viable. It wasn’t just erased and given to Power or Attack Size or something.
Honestly it should be a pretty useful tool to people who use fighting styles. It is a close range move on a style of combat that focuses on close range. It can work well w/ Crash to hit targets in the air because when you’re a Berserker your only option to hit targets close in the air is that move.
Probably don’t get the pvp scene too well since I’ve pvped a few times relatively speaking but I think it should be a common practice to bring stuff on par with others instead of just forgetting it exists.
