scalding has the same interactions a burning, as someone who uses sailor + magma i can confirm ash petrifies with it.

i beat iris purely with blocking and spamming m1s
I do think fighting styles need a readjustment tho, you get your first skill AFTER you fight the first boss, you should at least get crash at 10 skill points
fighting styles really got the short end of the stick in this game

Yeah, same interactions but different status. Scald only lasts for 3 seconds, making it more powerful than Burning which does its damage over 5 seconds. Scald being able to Petrify with Magma in v1.12 is gunna be pretty nice as well.

Why should I delete my slot and re-create my entire character just to change an element? Each magic has to be viable with all magic classes in one way or another. When it comes to conjurer and warlock snow is literally not viable in any way compared to ice or sand which simply just limits the player’s options.

Since when is scald a thing?

I don’t know why I have to repeat this to you but Snow is better than Ice as it stands. Snow + Sailor Fist instafreezes at a slight damage cost on imbue and Snow + Sunken Sword instafreezes at the same slight damage decrease. Both of the builds you listed are fine.

Ice + Sailor instafreezes and has damage buff to bleed and frozen enemies, ice + sunken sword instafreezes and has damage buff to bleed and frozen enemies and snow deals LESS damage to frozen enemies. Your point?

Glad to see berserkers getting love in this doc.

One thing I hate playing as Berserker are the dashers, so I really hope the dash staling mechanic is implemented.

Though I think 14% per dash is a bit much, considering how late game is just an AOE mess. My idea is each dash eats up 7-10% of ur meter, then around 50%, your dash distance will be reduced by 33%, then at 15% and below, your dashes are only half as effective. If you don’t dash in 2s, then you’ll regen 40% meter per sec, which can be cancelled by dashing again. If you successfully hit an enemy with ur attack then it’ll regain 15% meter. This would make it feel natural and not abrupt while still combatting the constant dashers.

One thing I feel needs to change is that weapon builds are the only ones allowed to have any form of damage reduction tool (shields).

Nothing stop you from using a shield as a mage.

If you don’t have weapon stat, the shield appears but it does literally nothing.

No? I could use a shield on warlock?

We already have blocks and parries. Warriors having shields is just a privilege for them plus u need to hold the actual shield for it to work and its rather difficult quickly switching to shield and then blocking in a middle of combat

My character automatically blocks with the shield when I press G when it’s equipped though.

its not doing anything.
yes, you have it equipped.
yes, its infront of you.
no, your blocking is not improved.

Weird, when I do it my durability doesnt go down. Ima check again in another time

Why not just practice parrying?

Maybe I am just an idiot, can be that lmfao. But I do remember using the shield on my warlock.
