You’re close to finding another puzzle, so perhaps go and check at the crime scene a bit more. You may have looked for fingerprints on the weapon but… did you actually check out any other part of it?

i inspect the weapon some more until something is spotted by another player
Back at the scene of the crime, Kyo noticed the weapon next to the body of Mr. Burnette.
“Has anyone actually inspected the weapon yet?”
I walk up to the corpse and check if it’s temperature, and check the consistency and color of the blood in an attempt to guess how long ago the murder was.
