“…Can we not play around with a murder scene weapon?”

“Hey, isn’t there that assassin base to the south of Sameria? Makrinaos? That could be a place worth checking out,” Caiden says, finally thinking straight.
“Yeah I’m not going to an assassin island for this job”
“I’m a dagger-wielding maniac thank you very much.”
“That’s quite dangerous. Aside from the base being surrounded by storms, walking in to their base like that is just a bad idea.
You… eventually… learn that the murder weapon belonged to the Assassins Syndicate - as there was their sigil stamped in huge on the hilt - but that wasn’t good enough for Mr. Burnette, he wanted names. Noticing the blade had engravings on it, you decide to inspect them, only to discover further unrecognisable and otherworldly poetry. It would be unlikely, but perhaps… just perhaps it might lead to the manufacturer.
The engravings
'O’er the glad waters of the dark blue sea, Our thoughts as boundless, and our soul’s as free Far as the breeze can bear, the billows foam, Survey our empire, and behold our home’
Well well well… guess that wasn’t so hard after all. So Warm can help with this puzzle but can’t submit an answer. You guys team together and work out what this one’s about. Perhaps the engravings could help narrow down a specific assassin you could hunt for?
say, did we ever look at the card?
“Sorry, intrusive thoughts.”
