It isn’t usual for me to post multiple pieces in such a short time, but I wanted to bring awareness to the forum of a national situation happening in Colombia. You might’ve heard that recently, a 7.4 magnitud earthquake hit the country on August 10. This has left thousands of people without a home, either because they fully collapsed, or they can’t go back into them due to the fear of other buildings falling down. Fortunately, the country responded immedialty to the crisis and are helping people in need, plus local communities are helping each other out through donations.
This post’s objective isn’t to seed chaos or panic into the forum, but rather spread awareness of the situation. I do not have any other active social media accounts to post about the crisis and I only saw a way through here; but if any of you do have other social medias, posting even just a story can help the world visualize and support a country in need.
