Over his career, Architect Merlot has curated a collection of cover identities to liaise with prospective allies, clients, and targets. Currently, he is Marcel Locke, an ex-mercenary who works for the Orthys Seas Company, a shipping company spanning multiple seas. Working for the Orthys Seas Company serves as a good cover for Merlot. He gets to mingle with many Grand Navy officials under an official purpose, while his expertise in military affairs impresses the nostalgic officers at parties.
When he isn’t spewing death threats as an Assassin, he makes an excellent conversationalist. Sometimes he also coyly throws in a few jokes that allude to his actual profession. Those usually earn a chuckle from the severe-faced commodore.
