Are nymphs still alive in arcane odyssey?

Are there nymphs and other nature spirits alive in arcane odyssey or are they like dead due to Acheron/Durza?

there’s probably still a few in the dark sea, although they might be corrupted and stuff

why don’t we get any interesting creatures not in the annoying area
(bar maybe the alpha bear)

I’d guess that there might be some nymphs or other such spirits on Sky Islands, or hidden locations of wilderness islands. It’s also plausible that the ones that are connected to specific environmental features (rivers, mostly) are just dormant, and can be woken up by a feature that has yet to be added.

Atlantean/corrupted versions all only appear in deeper ranges. Sirens we already see in i1 don’t look especially starving, exhausted, weak, or in an otherwise bad state to me.

Are you suggesting vetex’s taste is so degraded and his work so low quality he’d have to resort to making goonbait to attract people to his game? That’s a very, very bold claim, one which I disagree with, despite all vetex’s faults.

God I hate that was vetex’s legit answer as to why no mythical creatures exists outside the dark seas. He’s so. Creatively bankrupt

I think its better that they are all in the dark sea, it makes the place feel much more magical and unique

You can’t really appreciate the magic and uniqueness of a place when it’s being utterly insufferable and desperately ruining its own experience every chance it gets
