By poisoned items I mean items that have been obtained by duping, exploits, macros, bots, etc.
Will I get banned if I obtain such items through trading if I’m not aware they obtained through illegitimate means?
I am afraid that what might look like a good deal is actually just poisoned items.
yeah they do, and cases like those have happened before iirc, not sure if they still happen now
If you traded an item for them knowing they were then yes, however if you had no knowledge of their nefarious origins then you could be compensated for the items you did trade in exchange.
I’ve only seen one case myself of the second one when a pretty well known traded did a trade with a bad party and got their sunken back. Don’t know to what extent this will apply or what kind of evidence you need but I do know it is possible.
