We have recently discovered in vetexs recent qna that spirit energy is an energy seperate from chaos and due to it not being among the gifts of prometheus. We as humans do not have direct control over spirit energy and must use a spirit weapon as a medium. However, doesnt that mean we are descendants of gods for we are able to use ekrix without the use of spirit weapons. What do you guys think?

and if so wouldnt that defeat the purpose of spirit weapons as we can already control it
Not confirmed very likely however considering several pieces of dialog/ lore drops
spirit weapons can be any object (we put OUR energy in it)
we pretty much have a huge potential compared to normal people and theorically can manipulate the element of the god we come ffrom (but i am not sure if that is ever gonna happen gameplaywise)

yeah no, there are spirit weapons who were forged by the gods themselves
yes, however spirit weapons are a medium, if we really are descendants of gods then we do not need any mediums for casting. Just like are ability to cast magic
that is why the vitality awakening is spirit imbuement, because we can manipulate it at will

some mages cast through weapons even if they don’t need to, same logic applies here but with wardens
