General Argos, the lion of old Ravenna and ruled under Cesar before Calvus became king being proficient in both fighting styles and weapons.
The Exiled, a masked hero who’s identity is unknown to the world they are proficient in weaponry being able to cause shockwaves with just a swing of his sword The Oathkeeper.
Now that we have a surface level understanding of the bosses I want to hear in a realistic situation who would win?
field
The field is a wide open space with surrounding trees and cliffs both will have to rely on their own fighting prowess.
i love the dude too but he got tied/lost most of the time ( ingame ) with a lv60 warrior/warlord ( 120 or something but WoM lv = 1/2 AA/AO level ( probably )
the only way i can see him winning is him somehow managed to blitz Argos
fighting Argos literally caused the goddamn fortress to collapse, those cracked armors and shield aint protecting shits
“he can do sword shockwaves!”
and Argos can do the same, yeah sure its only two slashes instead of, what, 6? but hes also capable of doing the claws fury thing so its likely he can do more, just have no reason to
Idk why youre comparing yourself vs exiled to exiled vs argos
Exiled and mino were absolutely npc killing machines compared to literally all ao bosses. They would shred through any boss easily except calvus
Argos has more brute strength and combat experience
might tied speed-wise
Exiled probably more durable due to being younger and… well i dont really know how good his armor would be tbh, exiled’s cracked and such while Argos looks pretty new
Vetex did said that Argos’ weapons were more for ceremonial purpose tho so if his armor was too then ig exiled wins in durability
I think their strenght, durability, level and agility are about the same level. So the only way we can decide who would win is by comparing their battle styles.
Exiled is known by his defensive style of fighting. Also the Oathkeeper is something between broadsword, one-handed sword and rapier. This sword is efficient against unarmored and quick targets like criminals, but in case of Argos, who is armored head-to-toe, this weapon won’t be so effective.
Argos shed his muscles to preserve his agility due to his old age. And by so he kept his agressive style of fighting. He is fighting at close quarters, and there Exiled’s Wall of Jericho joins the battle. Undoubtly Argos’s Lance of Loyalty and Cursebane won’t do anything here, but the Harberd is a weapon type initially created to counter shields. Also, Exiled’s shield and armor is very old and cracked, so its not as durable as might be. Argos’s armor seems fine, but it is bronze, what isn’t the best material. But even this is enough to withstand sword attacks.
In this situation Argos and the Exiled would be tied at close quarters until Argos breaks something in Exiled’s armor or his shield, or until our old man will lose his stamina. Even though Exiled can’t really harm Argos, rapier-like weapons are excellent in parrying. This way, he can exhaust Argos. If the Exiled will try to fight at medium distance, his Raging Storm will leave no chance to the old man.
As a result, I give the victory to the Exiled. He can drain all stamina from Argos at close quarters, and then obliterate him with Raging Storm at medium distance. Only way Argos can win is by breaking both Exiled’s weapons, as I don’t think Exiled has any experience in martial arts.
Well, provided that the Exiled doesn’t fricking spam his dang invinicbility move, I’d probably go for Argos. He can absolutely destroy someone’s hp bar if they’re close enough.
if we are talking game-wise which i assume you are (since you mentioned hp bars) then
this also applies to the exiled. His kick deals 300 dmg upclose, his aoe move that also always wins clashes deals 150 and his raging storms deal 77 x3 and 54 (?) x 7 iirc. Also exiled will def spam his invincibility. Couple that with the fact that he can bleedstack (wom mechanics) and can spam attacks way more frequently than argos and its basically guaranteed that exiled will win
but this is all game-wise ^. Lore-wise argos would likely win
