To be quite honest, the fight was…boring.
Everything around us was ravaged. The seas were on fire, the skies were boiling with rage, and the earth shook in terror.
Keraxe’s power was on full display.
Ravenna had come to support us. Revon had finally reconciled the pain he had gone through and understood what we did…
My friends were incredible.
Morden was fending off Keraxe’s soldiers. As hundreds came, hundreds more fell. Death incarnate running over them in a suffocating black haze of power. One of Wotan’s sons intervened, a blazing clash of devastating power shook the seas.
Iris trained a lot. I could tell, she was incredible too. Flames, orange and bright, erupted everywhere over ground zero. Exploding into the air igniting the sky a fiery red. People fell, burned, let out cries of terror and pain.
Neviro. His spear danced everywhere, shockwaves of pure power and skill blazing through thousands of army members. Twirling around like an unending dance, splitting heaven and earth, driving through the Keraxe army like nothing.
Warren’s blue fire covered the battlefield. Fighting three of Wotan’s son’s at once, flashing through the air at tremendous speeds. Flashes of blue, red, and explosions. Shockwaves shook ground zero. Craters littered the ground.
…
Wotan is standing in front of me. I smile slightly as I watch him get closer. The definition of fury on his face. He sends a gigantic attack at me, over and over, shaking the island. Everything stops for a brief moment as fighters from both sides take in Wotan’s near immeasurable power. The sky splits, the clouds disappear, and hurricane force winds ravage the poor island.
The dust clears. I’m still standing. The dust around me is suspended in the air, getting close but never touching. Debris falls around me, my fingers are together in a finger gun. I smile innocently.
A gigantic pulse of gravity slams the floor around me. While a blazing primordial storm fires over head. The winds blasting fodder straight off the island. Lightning flashes over my head, exploding towards me instantaneously. Infused with dangerous energy that cracked the ground even while it approached.
…
I looked straight on and smiled brighter.
The lightning could not touch me. It slowed down, just barely on top of my head, unable to even hit a single hair. Stopping in it’s tracks as it attempted to get closer. But sadly, you can never truly reach infinity.
A faint polychromatic aura surrounds me, glowing gently, pulsing as the lightning remains suspended in the air.
“What are you?” Wotan breathes in shock.
I smirk for the first time, “Your end.”
The conqueror explodes with fury, blazing forward with a fist wreathed in ethereal lightning. In an instant his fist extends forward in an attempt to pop my head off like an insect.
Dust flares up everywhere, a shockwave nearly sinks a part of the entire island. Rocks crumble, the world shakes, the heavens roar. Iris, Morden, and Neviro watch in horror as the ground behind me is reduced to nothing from that single punch. Electricity ravaging the floor in waves.
The dust clears. My friends watch in utter shock, Wotan’s fist is just short of reaching my face. Trembling, slowing even further as he gets closer. His eyes are wide.
I grin.
“Hey, Wotan.”
The world seems to slow down.
“Ever heard of the Art of Infinity?”
