For me I use the one with circles , ovals and a stick figure I’m not sure what the method is called though. That method usually gets me the best results other than that there’s mannequin method which I use every once in awhile. Although it’s harder to draw curves and other stuff since it’s more square like shapes
idk how to explain this properly but I make circles at joints / rectangles at parts like main body / use other shapes to get the simple version of the body anatomy
and then I just add the muscle and additional details in the sketch after getting the pose idea (and yes these parts still require additional sketches, I have to look up for references on those parts constantly)
I do not have a permanent way to do the anatomy since i change artstyle quite a lot, as of right now im using cylinders as the arms and legs and uhh… Rectangle shaped shape for the torso.
Fair warning before you proceed: My anatomy method is pretty shitty and mostly self-taught so you probably dont want to stick too close for it. Just use whatever part of it you like
I break the body into 2 main parts: the chest and the hips. As you can see, they are created from relatively simple shapes and connected by a line.
Afterwards, I simply just add four circles - two on the bottom shape as a base for the legs and two on the top circle as a base for arms. Elbows and knees also utilize these circles.
When drawing a full body keep in mind the the length between the top of the neck and the crotch should be around 3 heads and the length between the crotch and the legs should be equal to the length between the top of the neck and the crotch (aka also 3 heads)
