Atlantean Invasion- Warning Signs?

Two weeks before the invasion:

Many particularly strong individuals; General Julian, Dennis Harvey, Commodore Kai, King Calvus, etc, report getting an extremely odd and uneasy feeling. A thick smog surrounds Ravenna. A looter journeying to Akursius Keep notes a major increase in insanity when there.

One week:
The Dark Sea’s boundaries move inwards, seemingly overnight, to the point that they are touching the edge of the Pelion Rift, and close to Fort Talos.
Commodore Kai orders a massive conference between him and other high-ranked officers of the navy to discuss the developing situation. King Calvus summons all his generals and discusses the event.

Three days before:
The weather becomes universally stormy, an occurrence which has never happened before. Navy vessels near the Dark Sea border report great amounts of mysterious ships massing in the black fog, not replying to any communication attempts.

Two days before:
The Grand Navy stations some marines on Palo Town. The mysterious ships waiting around the Dark Sea’s borders nearly triple in number.

One day before:
The weather officially grows to be awful. The Dark Sea’s boundaries immediately begin rolling inwards. General Julian spots the encroaching stormfront and flies first to Ravenna, to alert King Calvus, then to Silverhold, delivering the news to Kai.
The Bronze Legion mobilizes in full force. The Grand Navy calls all its ships to return to Silverhold. Pirates operating near the Dark Sea suddenly go missing. Communication from the other seas stop.

The Day of the Invasion:
The Dark Sea officially consumes the last pocket of the Bronze Sea. Those in Cirrus Island see only a sea of black clouds rolling with thunder and a darkened sky above them.

The massive armada gathered at the edges of the Bronze Sea advances inwards; A great battle breaks out between the Grand Navy and the Atlantean fleet, but eventually the Navy’s defence fails and the Atlantean fleet advances further into the Bronze Sea.

A large fleet falls on Ravenna and unloads all its troops. Fierce fighting breaks out on the island between the Bronze Legion and Atlantean raiders.

Palo Town is ambushed and swiftly overrun. Nearly all of its inhabitants are bitten and infected, Mayor Tilly among them. The Navy garrison there is wiped out to the last man.

Fort Talos is brought down by an Atlantean stealth attack. General Argos is missing. The top section of the fort collapses.

Massive amounts of Atlantean ships veer towards Akursius Keep and immediately take up residence on the isle.
Shell Island comes under heavy assault; Elm, Mango and Dawn Island are passed over by the Atlanteans as not worth conquering. General Julian sinks a large Atlantean fleet, before being forced to pull back as the magic radiation grows ever stronger.
