Atlanteans stats being increased: too much powercreep?

every single boss drop in the game gives power or defence for a reason (except argos cape I think)

I know your supposed to go to the dark sea but I’m really hoping it means having a couple items and maybe a enchant or two instead of having to grind 150 hours to have a good chance against the first boss.

it really isnt that deep and it makes a lot of sense anyways like unoriginalusername said

hmmm, i have an idea…

dark sea to level 125? Perhap?

the new dark sea introduced armour sets that don’t have those stats like the aereus, theurgist, and siren sets

not really, sub and main literally mean lesser and more important

Not really?
I mean, sub and main can mean a lot of things – and in this scenario its stating that power/defence are main stats [usually the most important stats to have, or most common on a piece of gear] followed by sub stats [stats which are usually tacked onto items nott at a main stat

The only time this is deviated from is non-boss drops like the captain/sailor sets, siren set, etc

edit: also idk why theres a discussion on “dont use sub or main its mean!” Theyre stats, Im sure they dont have feelings, its fine

I use. And the point was the fact that Dark Sea’s items are so strong that you can complete Nimbus without any problems.

Even if Nimbus will be very hard, then newcomers will cry that the difference between Nimbus and Bronze seas is giant without realizing that they have to get better through DS firstly.

From a pve standpoint you’ll always be able to defeat mobs and bosses if you invest in purely defense and power, but bosses are much harder with hardly any power/def even if you have a high amount of the other stats

POV: Elius wiped the floor with me because I was being too silly with a pure agility build at level 125

power and defense literally are the most important stats so yes thats true

not really with how they’re used here, as a prefix and an adjective respectfully

it’s not that it’s being mean to the stats, it’s that i feel every stat should be equal for more build diversity, especially now that people are talking about them more with the recent scaling changes

not really, i’ve done most of my files completely statless

They have to go through very small pockets though, and it’s possible vetex might make nothing spawn in between these areas, so you might not be able to find anything

Not to mention I doubt multiple seas will be linked to the same server, they’re probably going to be separated servers like in AA, meaning any sealed chests you get on that way (if you find anything anyways) will be completely gone by the time you get to Nimbus

youre lying if you say that playing the game without power and/or defense isnt harder than playing with power and/or defense

that difference isnt a “not really” big difference either. Its pretty big if not just straight up huge :sob:

I think that you will travel between seas without having to go through the dark sea, since it surrounds the war seas not each individual sea. How that is planned to work without just having the dark sea behind the teleport point where you could accidentally stumble upon it and lose all of your sealed chests I’m not entirely sure

There’s probably going to be a blue border showing it being there

i don’t mean that it’s the same as playing with stats, but it’s not too difficult, all the bosses so far are pretty easy once you learn their attacks

If it were an issue there could be a prompt to change seas.

that doesnt prove how power and defense cannot be called main stats
skill isnt even a stat so idk why youre including skill as your argument in this discussion

This is next level on dumbest forum arguments.

Are the stats offended because they have a prefix?
