Atlanteans stats being increased: too much powercreep?

exactly, i dont understand why yall are crying

I don’t get why you think this many stats 1/8th of the way through the game is NORMAL

Also the hell is a sub stat every stat is valuable

this is so true – I am not having 1 insanity annoyance to get, let me see…
20 defence.

30+ is much better, same for agility and other stats that arent power

atlantean essence gives the same amount of power as powerful enchant, but not the same amount of size for example as an explosive enchant, this change was just to make is consistent

That’s just their name bro :sob: it’s not that deep

nah, they are called Stats

they are in the substat category since they all share the same scaling, power and defence are the two main stats, they have LINEAR SCALING, all the rest of the stats are substats, they have logarithmic scaling (albeit less rough now)

They’re just referred to colloquially as sub stats/ secondary stats/ alternate stats due to them not having the linear scaling that power and defense have

You are nitpicking a naming convention that most people use, and I really don’t see any reason to do this since it’s just a NAME, unless you’re just trying to attract attention or cause drama.

How the hell are casual players supposed to even enjoy the game if Nimbus is balanced around having the insane 250 secondary 100 power 900 defense builds people are getting???

that’s a weird reason to call them that, sub makes it sound lesser or inferior, even more so when power and defence are listed as main stats making them seem more important, it’s a poor naming convention

According to vetex, progression is based around Sea1 → DarkSea1 → Sea2 → DarkSea2, so new palyers are expected to go to Dark Sea before nimbus, it’s like the lvl locks but for gear

every single boss drop in the game gives power or defence for a reason (except argos cape I think)

I know your supposed to go to the dark sea but I’m really hoping it means having a couple items and maybe a enchant or two instead of having to grind 150 hours to have a good chance against the first boss.

it really isnt that deep and it makes a lot of sense anyways like unoriginalusername said

hmmm, i have an idea…

dark sea to level 125? Perhap?

the new dark sea introduced armour sets that don’t have those stats like the aereus, theurgist, and siren sets

not really, sub and main literally mean lesser and more important

Not really?
I mean, sub and main can mean a lot of things – and in this scenario its stating that power/defence are main stats [usually the most important stats to have, or most common on a piece of gear] followed by sub stats [stats which are usually tacked onto items nott at a main stat

The only time this is deviated from is non-boss drops like the captain/sailor sets, siren set, etc

edit: also idk why theres a discussion on “dont use sub or main its mean!” Theyre stats, Im sure they dont have feelings, its fine

I use. And the point was the fact that Dark Sea’s items are so strong that you can complete Nimbus without any problems.

Even if Nimbus will be very hard, then newcomers will cry that the difference between Nimbus and Bronze seas is giant without realizing that they have to get better through DS firstly.
