Whats the backstories of your characters? Do you keep the plot of AO in mind or ignore it?
jimmy’s kinda stupid but he goofs around, not knowing he’s actually killing people (like pyro from tf2)
AO or not AO because all of my AO characters are pretty uninspired
Aw dont say that XD
all my files across all my alts are related like this WOM file that extended to AO was the morris family of pirates and sh its pretty cool >:3
my main file still follows the main story of ao, but i put a few modifications here and there
and my second file is just related to the main by blood
If I wanted to write a story then I wouldn’t be on roblox
I have two main OCs. One is Lelantos who has his own verse inspired by AA. Then there is Jon who follows the AO plot line although a bit differently.
Jon is a bio-engineered sleeper agent that was made in the Order. Waking up with no memories or any sort of sense in the world. He only really followed what Morden said because there was no other path for him to walk. Then met Iris who he trusts the most. He kinda follows the group around helping them with anything needed. Although as innocent as he might seem, Jon is extremely terrifying when it comes to Orders. Any orders given, he will complete it at any cost. He doesn’t have any human connection to life, so to him, they are just candles he can snuff out if he wants to. But his views are slowly changing as he spends more time around people.
Nicholas is the only character (and my main) who I have any attachment to, so here goes nothing. I try to stay as close to the lore as possible, without referencing the main story.
Before becoming a rather well-known captain in certain circles, they were a young engineer with a dream, literally!
They dreamt of a place called “Magius”, where they were a hero and a staunch defender of a city called “Ironport”. Unfortunately, the dreams stopped one day, now reduced to daydreams and an imaginary place where they could live out their “previous life”. Maybe Magius was real, or maybe it was a prophecy, but soon they found out that it was simply more than what they thought previously…
When serving on a ship as an apprentice of an old shipbuilder, pirates attacked late at night! They slaughtered the captain in cold blood and demanded treasures and cargo. The old shipbuilder and the rest of the crew refused, leaving them to be tortured.
Nicholas, afraid of the pirates and what they will do to the crew and their teacher, remembered an old tale from their grandmother. Long ago, there was a magic user in the family, a person who was lost to history, but beamed with potential and power… They decided to be brave, and freed their teacher, who was tied up. Together, they faced the pirates with weapons and their strength, they seemed to be winning, until the pirate capitan finally showed up. Long story short (because this post is already wordy enough, let’s be honest), Nicholas awakened their hidden power and helped his teacher with defeating the pirates.
The crew was safe, the cargo was safe, extra loot was gained, and new opportunities opened for the young Nicholas…
Arthur broke into an armoury (he got bored), stole a gun or two, then just kind of started hunting down bounties and found out
a) he’s actually pretty good at shooting
b) he makes more money than he would as a marine
keep in mind i made all this up in the past 2 minutes and it will definitely change in the next week
AO or Personal OCs because I don’t think anyone wants to hear my ramble about either
It’s now just mostly set in my own version of the Arcane Verse, my most and almost revised AO OC of my mine was Jonathan because he couldn’t seem to fit in at all.
Then I just said screw it and up sized the AO earth by twice it’s size and added 2 more seas, one in which Jonathan resides in.
So in summary for his, a boy born into a magic obsessed cult (Zenin Clan X Order Of Aesir) his only loving family being his sister, she suddenly disappears, yada yada, he went out in secrecy to find his sister to reunite once he became an adult. His plot is just a classic Good Vs Evil. (albeit extreme examples)
